deathcowsays...ooo, not good, when its all guys it makes them all gay
Rottysays...Eurofags. But, what would you expect?
LordByronsays...Just kids having fun! jeez :>
Bidoulerouxsays...How does this "defy gravity"? If that is your definition of defying gravity then a chair defies gravity too, and so does the human skeletomuscular system (which would be why this "trick" works). You could "sit" like this without another person to lie onto if you had strong enough leg, abdominal and back muscles. I will admit though, that to an ignorant person it might look like magic. This is also why we still have people believing in gods and miracles. Also, this has nothing to do with M.C. Escher: they are simply lying on each others lap.
And why the hell would doing this make people gay more than stupid? You closet homophobes have the wrong priorities.
oxdottirsays...Gravity defying because human beings can't normally comfortably have their shins be vertical and their backs be horizontal without the use of intervening props or furniture. It looks unlikely, and the reasons it looks unlikely have to do with the lines of vertical force, which are, as you so charmingly noted, each others' laps, and therefore shins. I mentioned escher because it reminds me of the famous marching around the top of the fortifications ad infinitum. Joe is supported by Fred is supported by Mike is supported by Charles is supported by Joe...
As for the homophobia, I agree, so your apparent desire to be offensive to all is partially foiled.
daxgazsays...we did a similar thing in boot camp. Ours was in the push-up position with our shins and feet interlaced. It was very hard to hold because our arms supported our entire body weight and we had to counter each others balance. Anyway, it was interesting to see.
Chaucersays...i wonder how many people you can do that with and still have a stable structure.

nibiyabisays...Methinks Bidouleroux needs to learn how to not take everything so seriously (and maybe enroll in some anger management classes).
JAPRsays...lol some of my friends did this earlier, i can only assume one of them saw this video.
ShakaUVMsays...We did this in my physics class back in high school. Whole class stands in a circle, then sits down on each other's laps.
arvanasays...This reminds me of the kids jumping in a circle in "The Gods Must Be Crazy" with their legs intertwined. Looks really cool!
Abductedsays...This is all we ever do in Europe.
Arsenault185says...well daxgaz, I'm not really sure what kind of push up your describing, but i know when we want to mix things up a little bit we do something similar. One guy get in the push up position but rests on the ground, then the next goes perpendicular with his feet on the first guys back, then 2 more guy do the same thing, with the 4th guy supporting the first guys feet, then in unison you push up and do your exercises. fun to watch, bitch to do. Theres also the long version, were one guy starts normal, then a guy gets in front of him with his feet on the other guys shoulders, then you just keep on adding as many people as you want so only the guy on the very end has his feet touching.
