I've heard this argument before from a magazine article about an interview with DMX (don't ask me how I remember this). When asked for advice on relationships he answers "Keep yo ass clean."

Back then I wasn't exactly sure what he meant, whether he meant 'yo ass' as in 'yourself' or he actually did specifically mean 'your ass'.

Well I guess it's a popular recurring maxim among wise men. Wash yo ass.
