That's funny.

I think we're the type of people who spoil surprises in movies by pre-guessing every possible way the story could unfold.

For me that's why it's so extremely rare when a movie actually does surprise me and does something I completely didn't see coming.

I was expecting a child molesting dragon. I think the kite should have finally ended up taking a nosedive into a kite eating tree. At the end we see the kid staring up into the tree and simply saying "Rats".

The tension was unbearable. I kept waiting for a troll, perhaps a carnivorous animal, or a legion of warriors on a blood rampage.
Could barely watch.
