A short video from E3 '09 on customization in Realtime World's new game APB (All Points Bulletin) which is scheduled to release this year or early next year on the PC.
It's an MMO open world sandbox game based in urban sprawls, featuring two sides, Enforcement and the Criminals. Game design is led by David Jones, creator of the original Grand Theft Auto and Crackdown.
(...)For example, several Gang players may rob a convenience store within the game; the game will then seek out one or more Law Enforcement players of equivalent skills and other criteria, and will issue an all points bulletin for them to stop the robbery.
APB also claims it will be the first MMO title where the player's skill determines the character's progression, as opposed to the normal model of time investment. Jones confirmed that players will be able to use the Last.FM service to create custom soundtracks within the game.

KnivesOutLooks incredible. The downside of that is that I'm pretty sure I'd have to buy a new gaming rig to play.
xxovercastxxI had an odd thought while watching this... if you can adjust boob size on the female, why can't you adjust the dude's package?
kir_mokum'CAUSE IT'S JUST LIKE REAL LIFE!
EDD"DO WANT. Sims 3 character creator has got nothing on this game. You have to get me this so that I can create gorgeous sexy characters." - my wife

EDD^Better safe than sorry. Lots of prudes in lots of workplaces, unfortunately
Croccydilesays...Hopefully the in game characters look as nice as they do here. I can't imagine that level of detail in a MMO when you have 50 people standing around and even the highest end computers coming to a crawl.
Warhammer Online, I'm looking at you.
