Underwater Surfing with Subwing

Looks like shark bait on a fishing line to me (YT comment).

Interesting. I'm surprised no one's thought of it before (or if they have, it just failed to garner any attention).

Still, it's certainly stretching the definition of "surfing". "Underwater wakeboarding" would definitely be more appropriate.

Except there's no wake being boarded on. More like "getting dragged along underwater". I don't think there's much marketing appeal in such a name.

Pretty cool idea. Simple, and looks pretty fun.

Some people who are able to use that device will look at it and say " hey I can use that "

Then realize that they are able to build the device and more than likely come to the conclusion that " hey I can afford that device" and boom goes the dynamite ! ! ! SOLD.

There are over six billion people on the planet, a lot of them wipe their asses with hundreds during the day.
