A lot of videos in there that need sifting.

Is there an objective process with which to label a song as rock? Because without any deeper knowledge in the subject, some of the ones in this video do seem like kind of a stretch for your average listener.

80s rule!!!

Iron Maiden - The Trooper?

I think everything on this list were defining songs of the 80s - not "all appealing" to everyone but not everyone in the 80s liked the same stuff. I remember everyone of these and all were hits with popularity.

I'm sure we could all add five songs that stood out for us personally while at the same time wiping a few off this list - but it doesn't change the fact that they were fun to listen to...
