newtboyjokingly says...Is it hard to outsmart someone who thought it was a good idea to tell stories about what he did as Stevie Griffin while being interrogated by detectives?
Apparently not.
Reefiesays...This is not a skilled tactic. This is an interviewer being an asshole. Given my own experience and the people I work with, it is very probable that the person being interviewed is on the autistic spectrum and the 'tactic' will cause any trust that existed beforehand to evaporate.
Before anyone rushes to the interviewer's defence and profusely declares how much of a liar this guy is, stop and think for a moment. Would someone who is of sound mind and judgement say anything to compare themselves to Stewie Griffin? That is your first clue towards getting an appropriate interviewer in there.
I hope the assholes promoting this technique are eliminated from their jobs. They have a cruel streak if they truly believe this is a legitimate tactic.
siftbotsays...Moving this video to BSR's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
