Esoogsays...Wow....I just expected a mocking video. These workers probably have no idea how to safety check this stuff.
jmdsays...These rigs are run by the cheapest fly by night operations you can imagine.
articiansays...Isn't amazing how little accountability there is in the world? Just crazy. I've always wanted to try this 'ride' as well...
Even after that things fails right next to them, those poor women haven't the faintest idea of how close they came... I'd have promptly shat myself with fear and rage at being in that situation.

Enzobluesays...That guy talking seemed calm - I'd be raging like a madman
dannym3141says...Not only would i be fuming at nearly having been killed, but that kid nearly had his leg whipped off by a high velocity fully stretched bungee. And no one seems in a rush to get out of the damn seat.
lucky760says...Ditto.
I don't get the calmness in that situation. I'd expect they should've all been going apeshit.

eric3579says...I think a bit of shock comes into situation like these that are so extreme. Processing what just happened and what could have happened can be a bit overwhelming me thinks. Way more focused on your loved ones.

moduloussays...Raging like a madman would simply have made the experience more terrifying for the kids still attached to a massive length of elastic under tension.
The rage begins once the kids are not in danger and a suitable target for the rage is apparent. Raging at the staff on the ground while the kids are in danger serves only to distract the staff (further endangering the kids) and scare the kids (further endangering the kids).
It looks like step one in their process was to release the tension in the elastic, which makes sense. If the mechanism holding them down failed while getting out of the car/cage the results would be worse for them and for anyone nearby helping them out.
Hanover_Phistsays...This video led me to find this website.

I may never ride another ride again.
