G-barsays...I actually finished just about now by Bill Bryson - "A short History of Nearly Everything"... there are whole chapters about fossils and cells... very interesting...
Sagemindsays...Holy Crap..., Is this the US school system????
lavollsays...so sad
vairetubesays...Sage, it's worse then one can even extrapolate from this video.
Luckily, if you want to learn things you can, it's just looked down upon.
Still unfair to the kids who really need help.
... and we still haven't adopted the metric system
LOL @ her emphasis implying atheists are the ones who believe in magic!!! Maybe she's doing devil's advocate in a debate... hmmm
redyellowbluesays...My brain de-evolved. HELP !
13643says...made it to about 48 seconds. muuuuuuh :: shudder ::
Sketchsays...I'm halfway through so far and this is SOOOO painful!
Lowensays...She's reading this? She can read?
Floodsays...Picard would give this a double face palm.
9063says...ow! This is excruciating.
14416says...She's an idiot, but as the saying goes, never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and then start arguing about something they actually know about, making you look stupid.
So how do you win without 'resorting' to actual scientific evidence?
3 easy steps:
1. Do you agree that offspring inherit traits from their parents?
2. Do you agree that sometimes the inheritance system breaks down, causing mutations?
3. Do you agree that, in a competitive world, individuals that have an edge over their competitors will tend to have a reproductive advantage?
Checkmate: evolution is an unavoidable consequence if all three questions are answered in the affirmative.
13757says...Dawkins and such discussing religion and atheism - attention-deserving sift.
some idiot being a moron about its stupidity - unanimous IGNORE act from the sift (I beg, please...)
biminimsays...And Darwin said, "Hey!"
Yeeeeesh.
12997says...I think her flagellum were designed improperly
9692says...She is obviously kidding
ponceleonsays...*long ?
siftbotsays...Invocations (long) cannot be called by ponceleon because ponceleon is not privileged - sorry.
BreaksTheEarthsays...Speaking as a scientist who utilizes evolutionary theory: I am shitting myself. It has taken this one nameless girl to point out the sham that I and others have been carrying out against the righteous morality of Christianity.
Why do we do this? There are many reasons, but first and foremost is that we hate God. We also hate those with love in their heart, and we hate it when people hold Bible meetings at a Starbucks complete with guitar sing-alongs.
According to this nameless girl, my cover has been blown. Perhaps I and my evolutionist friends can book one way passage to Argentina and seek refuge in the hidden villages created by the Nazi escapees.
gwiz665says...Not the founder, the discoverer.
Also, she's an idiot. I pity her.
Edit: I think it's hilarious when religious people make the argument "So it just magically appeared?? No no, it was GOD who did it." *sigh*
jonnysays...*long
siftbotsays...This video has been flagged as being at least 10 minutes in length - declared long by jonny.
