We saw this on tv the other day, and my wife turns to me and says "Is this thing really called a TITTY bear?", especially since all the footage at the begining is all ladies.

erm, you do know that seatbelts have to be tightly attached to your body? why do you think you shouldn´t wear thick jackets in winter while wearing your seatbelt? the belt only locks if there is a certain amount of force, if you put too much soft stuff between you and the belt it will eliminate much of the force thus your belt will not lock and you are, well, dead maybe.

Parents who get those for their kids should be sued.

Awesome commercial, but I have to ask from an engineering perspective, how does this alleviate the actual pressure applied by the seatbelt? I can understand a claim that it makes it more comfortable because there's something fuzzy there, but wouldn't the actual pressure applied by the seatbelt be the same?

I mean, if I pick up a 20 lb. weight and I have one of these around the bar, does it weigh any less?
