The Sugarcubes (Bjork): Birthday

One of the best Sugarcubes songs -- partly because it's not ruined by Einar's horrid "singing/rap/whatever."

From Bjork.com: "It's a story a love affair between a girl who's five years old and a secret with a man who lives next door. The song's called 'Birthday' because it's his 50th birthday, but not many people can figure it out from the lyrics. It's a tasteless love song."

T-man,
I love your vid description... "not ruined by Einar's singing/rap/whatever." HA! So true. I was always so happy that Bjork went solo for that reason, among others.
