Is it just me or was there nothing really like The Stone Roses before or since? They just blew me away with their debut album. So sad that the legal wrangling destroyed their momentum and creative energies.

You MUST see Seven Ages of Rock from the BBC, especially the final part as this covered the indie era and quite a lot of the Stone Roses work.
