He speaks of the necessity of scientifically based reason, and yet the hypothesis of Evolution has never had scientific corroboration. Faith is required to beleive in evolution much like the religions of today.

He does make some good points though about beleiveing in something "by just faith without any evidence (i.e the assention of Mary).

Evidence, not science, corroborates a hypothesis and evolution does not need to be proven to disprove any particular religious belief.

Agree with lucasgreen. Amazing what people can be programmed to believe and regurgitate without even thinking about it. Evolution has no scientific corroboration? OMG! You can accept as "some good points" that there is no evidence for the assention of Mary. Do you also accept that there is no evidence for the existence of God? As HAMFIST implied, that in itself doesn't prove he doesn't exist, but... whatever... pretty good racket that relies wholely on "faith". Any philosophical or logical corners can be escaped by a simple proclamation of faith. Evolution, on the other hand.... Oh, why bother?
