The thing I love about Styx is that you can see the contempt for DeYoung's theatrical sensibilities coming off the rest of the guys in the band.

The irony is, he's the only one in the band who could ever write a decent song.

Not necessarily so Tman. I think the song was actually satire about the fear at the time of Japanese industrialisation. They were very adept in 'cost effective' mass production and much manufacturing moved there, taking away American labour. I'm not an expert on the subject, but I remember seeing films about that sorta thing.

saying about the long and low paid hours in the Japanese factories.
