The scene prior to this one in the film, boasts the longest pyrotechnical set-up in a motion picture, a half mile of explosions for the bug-strafing segment as the roughnecks land on Klandathu....by the way, the sequel to this film blew large, solid chunks!!!!!

Nice choice FF! I almost posted this to my collective last week. It may be SciFi (and most definitely belongs in the Fandom) but there is a lot of flexin' too. So it gets double points from me!

You may love to trash the sequel, but I loved watching the sequel. Hell I love it more because finding the sequel was like a diamond in the rough.

The sequel was horrible, imo. Seconded with the comment on the horribly depressing DVD cover as well. Rented and watched this with the ole' man expecting pure testosterone in a can and even he came away saying, "Wtf?" Mind you this from a man who thinketh Cobra to be the best movie ever made.
