Ship Simulator 2010: X3M! DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES???

This is an official trailer for a REAL, upcoming game. It's almost too good to be true, considering the amount of irony contained within it. I mean, what the hell??? The name is "Extremes", yet they opt for a 3-tone midi piece for music. And I can understand the popularity behind the MS Flight Simulator, but this goes from 3-dimensional travel to only 2 axis! And even though the graphics' engine is neat and the ocean effects are decent, what's the size of ship enthusiasts' crowd - couple hundred?

Although to be fair I can see Sarah Palin buying couple thousand copies for her to simulate taking Valdez off Alaskan coasts to put an end to those pesky penguins once and for all.

could be good ! thay often use GPS to dock big boats could be fun parking a 100m chunk of steal into a bridge

From the music, it sounds like some of the ships might be haunted. Maybe you get to unlock the Black Pearl if you carry 50 shipments of automotive parts from Japan to America without hitting an iceberg...

Free of charge: the plural of axis is axes.

Seems like no one knows what they mean by extremes. It's not an game with "XTREME ACTION!", it's a game that encompasses two extremes as in "the extremes of boiling and freezing".
I'm guessing weather extremes of calm and "rainin' sideways" will play a big part in the game.
