And honestly, what problem with law enforcement do the chickenhawks have? I guess I view Al Qaeda like an organized crime syndicate, not a foreign government. Maybe Dems should run ads saying Repubs are weak on crime?

Their problem with law enforcement is simple...if they admit that Guantanamo is/was the wrong way to handle terrorists, they have to admit they are/were wrong (see, the answer is right in the question). And in some cases, such an admission would make personal interactions with law enforcement quite a bit more likely.

....sigh, I'm going to watch cat and dog videos now, this is just to depressing.
