Sen. Sanders Suggests Running Primaries Against Obama

*Audio only.

Independent senator Bernie Sanders recently appeared on Thom Hartmann's radio show, suggesting to a listener that it would be a good idea to pressure the Obama administration with the threat of primary election opponents running against him at the 2012 election. He sites the effectiveness of the Tea-Party at keeping their elected officials' feet to the fire, something that needs to be replicated by those eager to protect the progressive cause.

The Tea party is holding elected officials accountable and its about time.

Obama has no plan, he never does. He is such a looser. He is so bad that he makes Jimmy Carter look good.
