And in the last 30 or so years, the Republicans have turned into bible-thumping, wannabe patriotic, gun-toting, fear mongering, hate spewing, out of touch rich white guys with perfectly parted hair. They are a joke and a shell of what they used to be.

So, this politician (and in true politician fashion uses historical "facts" set to dramatic music to prove his point) says whatever needs to be said to deflect you from the fact that he isn't saying anything at all, that no one gives a shit which party he is (since they are all basically equal evils), and just in time for elections.

I know we've attempted to educate @bobknight33 on this on numerous occasions so I guess it's another case of willful ignorance.
