Sega CD Suckage: Night Trap

Cheezy acting, bad lip-synching, grainy FMV, and Dana Plato. What more could you want? This is the party time scene in Night Trap, released for the Sega CD in 1992. You control a bunch of surveillance cameras and try to protect slumber party girls from the bad guys via traps set up throughout the house. Often touted as one of the worst console launch games ever.

I'm ashamed to have owned this piece of crap. The game portion of the game was just abysmal. And the non-game parts weren't nearly as masturbation worthy as I wanted them to be.

This game was a huge milestone in the "games are destroying the fabric of American life" arguement.

And 32X had some decent stuff. Not much, but Virtua Racer and Star Wars were pretty damn good for their time.
