Rude Guy Gets Pepper Sprayed

Uhm, is that not assault by the lady to the gentlemen? I dont think there is an excuse to physically attack anyone based on talk, even if you are a lady.

@rbar
well,the man is obviously cis-gender scum.
he was encroaching on her "safe space" and derisive laughter is a form of violence,which "triggered" her response.so her reaction by way of eye-burning chemical deterrent is totally understandable.

she was just defending herself from the oppressive "patriarchy".

this just in:
a man who filmed having an altercation with a woman at a convenience store has lost his job.the company he works for,after being made aware of the employees behavior had this to say-"we hare at super PC mart have a zero tolerance for those in our employ who condone "rape culture".having been made aware of our employees abhorrent and insensitive behavior,have since terminated this mans employment.there is no room in our organization for men who would so callously disregard the plight of the fragile snowflake.his actions do not represent our ideals nor image and we humbly apologize to the victim".

@enoch I agree he is an asshole for trying to get in front of her in the line (which started all this) and for trying (and succeeding) to agitate her. I may have missed it, I didnt hear any "rape culture". Perhaps I dont understand what is meant with that?

To me it seemed the lady was much more (Physically) aggressive than the gentleman. He was being a douche, she was being aggressive which just motivated him to agitate her more.

Tolerating physical action based on verbal abuse opens up a can of worms. All of a sudden we put the judging into the hands of random people. Everything someone says can then be interpreted as abuse and lead to physical reaction. What about a look? Is looking weirdly at someone considered abuse and therefor liable to physical deterrent? Is tasering someone considered ok next to peper spraying them? What about shooting? Where does it end?

That is a slippery slope. I am guessing here, but legally I think verbal abuse is a minor offence, physical action is a major offence.

Was it the employee of the shop or the agitating gentlemen that got fired?

Firing the employee of the shop for not stopping the gentlemen seems extremely harsh. You are depriving someone of their livelihood for not judging well enough if someone else goes over an arbitrary line.

If it was the gentlemen that got fired, well, still harsh. He was being an asshole for sure, but firing someone for that? Does that mean that everyone who is an asshole in traffic should get fired? I think there would not be many employees left.

Legal smegal.

When you have two idiots at each other anything is possible. He was a dick and when you're going to be dick don't be amazed when shit comes down on you. If your gonna get physical with someone because they are running their mouth don't be surprised when someone knocks you the fuck out and or you are arrested for assault.

This is about two idiots and has nothing to do with gender. Kinda lame to bring gender into it.

Did someone really get fired?

@rbar
satire my man.satire.
tongue planted firmly in cheek.

this video was reminding me of the subway video where a woman was verbally assaulting this dude,and then she made it physical,and got popped in the mouth for her troubles.

and the sift verdict?
it was the mans responsibility.he should have walked away.even though everyone agrees that the woman was in the wrong..still the mans responsibility.

so in both that case and this one,BOTH were being juvenile and antagonistic and BOTH should bear responsibility for the end results.

and that is the only fair and just metric we should use to judge situations such as these.

but there are those who engage in a mental gymnastics as to twist reality to fit their perpetually offended and morally outraged narrative.

i.e:that this woman is the victim.

nope.this is just two assholes engaging in assholery.
