Grimmsays...CNN is reporting 4.3 million now.
8727says.....and that's just in 1 day! incredible.
if he doesn't get elected there's going to be more than just
a little commotion...
MINKsays..."we can't confirm that" ???
first time i heard them say that over and over again about a candidate's fundraising.
i guess it is literally incredible to some people that there could be 30,000 constitutionalists in america with $100 to spare.
Enzobluesays...Ron sent me an email , an excerpt:
"Amazing! I have to admit being floored by the $4.2 million dollars you raised yesterday for this campaign. And unlike the fatcat operations of the opposition, the average contribution from our 36,672 donors was $103."
Pretty amazing indeed.
Not to be a devils advocate, but I wonder how much was sent in by non-americans? Anyone know? I seem to remember George Will mentioning a lot of big time investors from other countries investing in Kerry in 2004. I just wonder because the polls still show Paul barely in single digits, seems improbable he's still below Huckabee and Thompson in some polls.
BicycleRepairMansays...Wonderful to see the internet democracy in action. However, I am a bit concerned about Ron Pauls less-government doctrine, he also seems to want to replace the current US foreign policy with "no policy" which I think is, pretty much by definition, unhelpful. I'd like to see a better policy.
CaveBearsays...I think "no policy" is a fairly inaccurate description of his foreign policy. He has said he does supports international trade and talk, but does not support interventionist foreign policy. Much more of a Jerffersonian constitutional viewpoint.
Wakesays...Weeeeeeeee.
Ron Paul seems like a guy to get in there and shake things up, fixing all the problems of our current bloated military industrial complex, misguided, uneducated goverment. But I encourage anybody to do a little research before they start supporting this guy. He is crazy. Go ahead and do some research on why he is supported by Stormfront. His thoughts on separation of church and state. What returning to the gold standard would do to the economy. Check out the Ron Paul survival report for some really great stuff about his views on other races.

Also the "We the People" act would be really cool because then states could ban homosexuality, abortions, mixed raced marriages and re-segregate their schools. (51% of Alabama thinks inter-racial marriage should be illegal at a state level)
StukaFoxsays...Ron Paul: Because we trust big business to save us from big government.
sometimessays...I wish Mike Gravelle had a chance.
though I'd rather see this Perot 2.0 over any of the asshole dubya 2.0 bastards like Gulianni.
