IANAL, but I believe the term is "Unlawful Detainment" or "False Imprisonment" (depending on the state), and were this in the U.S., it's doubtful it would apply. Basically, if a private citizen reasonably believes someone has or is committing a serious crime, they have the right to detain the suspect and wait for police to arrive.
[edit] The video itself basically provides no evidence if a crime is being committed, but I imagine the other customers' testimony in any civil or criminal case would not be helpful to the detainee.
