rougysays...I've already talked to one liberal Democratic woman and scanned a few blogs, so this is completely unscientific, but if anything they consider it an insult if McCain and the cons think they're going to vote GOP just because of this.
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
There's not doubt that this will be effective on a certain demographic. Those women who did not identify strongly with Democratic values will be swayed.
mkknyrsays...man, her idaho accent is annoying.

No, Dag, I have to disagree.
That's what the GOP wants everyone to think.
That makes Diebolds 'real' job all the easier to pull off.
12811says...Your headline is quite revelatory of your assumptions and prejudices.
dystopianfuturetodaysays...I agree with Dag, though I don't think the demographic is big enough to take the day. It's a big play and will likely make this race a lot more interesting, unless Republican women flat out reject her.
9058says...I unfortunately have to agree with Dag in the sense of my faith in the American people and their inability to see through the most obvious of lies or pandering bullshit makes me think this was actually a brilliant idea on McCains part. I really hope he doesnt win but this race got a whole lot closer than anyone wants to admit.
NetRunnersays...^ Don't forget the Republican men.
Oh, and she's in favor of creationism being taught in schools.
Hillary Democrats will love that, along with her strong pro-life position, and all her other positions.
Oh, and before she was Mayor of Wasilla, she was Miss Wasilla.
I'm shaking in my shoes.
At least now I think we can count on
peoplethe press paying attention to both candidates, and I don't think the McCain campaign realizes how bad that is for them.PS: Doesn't this undercut all the "experience is all that matters" BS put forth by McCain?
RedSkysays...Oh look at me, my campaign's historic too!
Vote for me, I'm a woman and so are you and eh, vote for me! Yeah!
dystopianfuturetodaysays...^I hope you're right. It looks like only the fringiest HRC sites (Hillaryis44 and PUMA) are buying into this, but they are likely McCain front groups anyway. The GOP does seem to have lost their strategic prowess, so perhaps there is no sucker punch en route.
