On a more serious note, I'm very surprised by this: the RHNB went through wax like a knife through butter and yet chocolate, which melts in your hands unlike wax, seems to put up more resistance... maybe because it burns and turns to carbon? So many questions...

I'm totally confused also. I figured it would just blow right thru the chocolate. Maybe the bubbling of the choco lifted the ball slightly from the surface so it wouldn't burn as quick?

I think chocolate is just a good insulator. While it's melting point is much lower than other substances it cools faster, and the falloff of heat dispersion is a very short distance.

Whew that must stink. I just can't stand the smell of burnt hare.
