i wanna up-vote, but the current 23 votes is just too apropos.

I remember going back 15years ago hearing about an australian pro player needing a crap load of stitches after something similar and i think they did something so the back boards don't just shatter into hundred of sharp pieces any more

I was really disappointed that they didn't show one more slo mo replay of that jump shot shatter.

Yes, it's kinda like the "obscure" channel. Obscure is a fairly subjective term, as is rare in this case.
