Happy? Really? As upbeat as this guy tries to be, I find this horrifyingly depressing.

Will Oprah be pissed if this guy beats the cancer? It'd be like the James Frey "A Million Little Pieces" incident all over again

I'm not going to comment on the Oprah aspect of this but:

I have to admit, even though his speech was compelling, it seemed ambiguous in message and almost incoherent. -That is, until the very end, when it all makes sense. I too, found it slightly depressing, but once you realize this speech (and book) will embody the the many times a parent tries to instill values unto their child, it's actually quite genius.
