brycewi19says...Wait, how do you get -10 for just one question wrong?
Such an ambiguous and arbitrary scoring system Steven Fry keeps. That bastard!
Quboidsays...It's -10 points for a forfeit. It's not just because the answer was wrong, but also obvious and/or a common mistake.
It's a bit suspicious that no-one attempted a real answer. I knew the obvious (i.e. wrong) answer, perhaps I'm more versed in US politics than most Brits because of my The Daily Show addiction but I think there was a word in their ears before the show started to not attempt that one just for the gag but there you go - trickery on TV, whatever next...
harrysays...Well, I wouldn't know the exact number of Presidents other than "somewhere in the 40s".
When they started the question, I expected the gotcha to be the word "American". Although I suppose even the earliest Presidents where properly American, even if born before the revolution?
therealblankmansays...This only illustrates the continuing failures of President Hussein Obama.

nominosays...He wasn't guest. There was a question relating to him. It's like saying Gaddafi, Lady Gaga, and Ipad were all guests on NBC NIghtly News last night. No vote for you.
Quboidsays...I thought the gotcha would be that there were presidents before independence, which I seem to remember they mentioned in an earlier series.
^ nomino - he got a forfeit and a score at the end. That's the joke...

The Hussein would have been in all caps.
lucky760says...That is a really smart outfit he's wearing with that bright pink shirt and bright yellow tie.
Gabe_bsays..."My Word, My Word, My Word...My Word"
Anyone else remember My Word? That (radio) show was great.
