Upvote for the nostalgia. In high school my friends and I used to make fun of this song on an almost daily basis for a while. We'd jump in each other's cars and say "Hey dude, turn on some Taco!" or make fun of someone's ridiculous clothes by saying "He/she's really puttin' on the fuckin' ritz". Ahh, good times...until Carrie killed everyone at homecoming.
