pass.the.grog.says...any clue who the teacher is? i was expecting to see him at the end.
EMPIREsays...Oh man... this is hilarious, and the man is a good sport for laughing at these comments.
Kruposays...super-really minor *nsfw
Hilarious vid - this one's headed straight for the top 15.
siftbotsays...This video has been marked NSFW (called by gold star member Krupo)
Raytracesays...here he is: http://www.ntu.edu.sg/eee/staff/eee1/cv/elkgoel.htm
this is a surprising sift. I know it's kinda amusing but i didn't think it'd be so well received. are there many sifters here from Singapore?
antsays...LOL! Hard to read some slides, and the teacher has heavy accents!
mlxsays...Thanks for that link, Raytrace. For some reason I thought he'd be better looking!
winkler1says...mlx, you beat me to this by a half hour! Dang you and your opera glasses!
Spoon_Gougesays...I had a college professor in electrical (circuits) who was also from India. I would swear they were the same guy listening to the vid.
lucky760says...Do you really think this is NSFW, Krupo? Does anyone else? I don't think the guy speaking a quick, almost unheard "shit" would qualify this as being NSFW. I'm removing the flag, but if someone else agrees with Krupo, please let us know.
Great find, MLx. I'm surprised that so many students in Singapore write the way they do to him. I'm equally interested to see an Indian instructor teaching at a Malaysian school speaking English. An interesting peek into the minds of international students.
antsays...Don't really see and hear anything NSFW.
LadyBugsays...i expected him to be better looking as well, mlx!!
Kruposays...>Do you really think this is NSFW, Krupo? Does anyone else? I don't think the guy
Not really, just the usual heads-up for anyone sifting with kids around; I'll just go back to saying *pg in cases like this.
ianchaisays...Here is an article from the campus newspaper about this.
By the way, regarding the comment I'm equally interested to see an Indian instructor teaching at a Malaysian school speaking English. An interesting peek into the minds of international students, NTU is in Singapore and not in Malaysia. But in both Singapore and Malaysia there are a lot of Indian lectuers (they're a great combination of being highly qualified and cheap ), and naturally, they would speak English because English is the language of instruction at most Malaysian and Singaporean universities, especially for Engineering.
