While Chomsky's ideals (which aren't really aired in this film) may be radical, he understands the hands-on incremental approach to change. That's a kind of pragmatism you'll rarely find in politically active intellectuals.

yeah, but incremental changes at this point in the game, are ineffectual. This is why Noam is not dangerous-he speaks of truisms and advocates no action. Not unlike those(fans) in whose ears his words resonate.
