I'm all for free speech and right to manifest one's opinion, but these idiots... oh my god... what a bunch of fucking retards.
First of all, preventing other people from going on about their lifes should be met with a punch to the face.
Not to mention the complete stupidity of hanging from a rope taking the huge risk of having a stupid driver just keep on going and cutting the rope.

And secondly.... The rope had a LOT of slack in the middle of the road. Which means they were not hanging from it. The rope was wrapped around several times on the sides of the bridge.

And the climber is experiencing post-traumatic stress? hahahahah What a bunch of dipshits.

1. That whole damn time of panic, with people shouting etc and the climber never thought to rappel all the way to the ground, or at least close to it?

2. Um, backup? A second rope that was out of view for safety wouldn't have lessoned the drama/impact of the protest itself.

I mean, sure the police acted hastily, but c'mon. A few minutes of thinking by the protesters about how this *might* play out beforehand would have been helpful. Like EMPIRE mentioned, one random angry motorist (I believe they exist) could have f*cked it all up before the police even got there.
