Most human-like walking achieved by a robot thus far, *promote

his "push" seemed really soft for the huge compensation the machine had to take.

but yeah, this is pretty awesome. i wonder how much power is being sent in, and if they can get it fully battery powered and get it outside (preferably on some icy sidewalks like bigdog was).

The compensation seemed about right for that push considering it doesn't have a top half to counter-balance with. If you weren't articulated at the waist you'd stumble a lot more.

I just hope they manage to make an even creepier robot next time. I'd be dissapointed if these guys ever make a walking robot that doesn't give me nightmares.
