Interesting setup. Teller probably had an air tube in his sleeve or something, since he often had his hands out of the water.

Sillma is right. Even years ago the record was 6min+. At the moment the record is just over 9 (nine!) minutes, held by Tom Sietas of Germany and established on 1st of May this year.

I always assumed that it was a tube with fresh air leading to his mask, and a tube taking exhaled air out through his sleeve.
