the second single off their 2008 album "third" which was also covered by radiohead.this alternative video uses footage from the brilliant imagery of darren aronofksy's "the fountain".the original video can be found here:

I just recently discovered Portishead (thanks to Pandora), and I hadn't yet heard this song. I'm going to have to hear it a few more times before I can tell how much I like it.

The video, however, is nothing short of amazing. Now I have to move The Fountain up to the head of my Netflix queue. All my careful planning gone for naught, thanks to you!

portishead 'dummy" is my favorite album and i am just amazed by beth gibbons.

Oh my god, how I love this film. Some of the most beautiful scenes ever been made. Sobbed and sobbed while watching it too. And, well it's Portishead, who have imo made some of the best music that ever was. Happily *promoted
