Seriously, if you have never tried to break a monitor before, it's not easy. That glass is a lot thicker than you probably think.

Yeah I don't mean to discourage them, but... It was a good idea, except that it lacked the gratification of seeing the monitor take some damage. Or make you really worry about it.
