Farhad2000says...ohh burn...
joedirtsays...this might be the best commentaries of recent times. Olbermann must have another gig lined up, cause I can't imagine Universal keeping him around much longer.
One of the last true Americans left on television.
quantumushroomsays...Well, we all know the democrap plan to defend America: nothing.
So fk-off, moonbats. You deserve to lose elections.
amxcvbcvsays...Sounds like he needs his own signoff instead of trying to be Edward R. Murrow.
Still, it's nice to have criticism in the media.
BicycleRepairMansays...Quiz time!, who said this:
“Naturally the common people don’t want war. But after all, it is the
leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it’s always a
simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy or a
fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.
Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of
the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are
being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and
for exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every
country."
amxcvbcvsays...I can't remember the name without Googling it, but I'm pretty sure it was one of the Nazi's at the Nuremburg Trials.
BicycleRepairMansays...Yup, damn google destroys every quiz I kinda expected people to google it, and find that it was infact one of the last things Herman Goering said before killing himself. I look at that quote and think of it as a sort of ultimate "confessions of a fascist regime" and how their leaders think. Its not too far-fetched to think that some of todays leaders are pretty damn close to that line of thought themselves. To reach the very top of the political arena in a place like the US, you need to be pretty determined and ruthless in your effort to become a leader. What drives them? the good of the people? visions of the future? Personal fortune? Power-hunger? all of the above? Is it possible that they'll do anything to achieve their goals?
mlxsays...Original ad may be found here.
pass.the.grog.says...Is it me, or is the 'shroom getting cranky, now that election time is coming near and watching his conservative comrades crash and burn in pretty much every way?
