Olbermann's failure to be concise is his weakness.

Other failures include his purse-lipped prudishness and his outrage when people do to those he supports what he perpetually does to those he opposes.

Hey Theo, I find Olbermanns explanation for Kerrys comments to be overly convenient. I'd like to see Kerrys speech without the pure republican bias or liberal bias added (still havent), to me, it still looks like Kerry was an ass even after sitting through as much Olbermann as I can stomach in one sitting.

It really doesn't matter in the end, the mission is clear - in a few days, deny power to every republican possible. - Living in Alaska, its a hopeless cause, but I can hope for everyone elses states.

Whatever John Kerry meant or not doesn't matter since he's not running for anything. It's a such a non-issue that is being spun into the October Surprise by die-hard republican conservatives and other wing nuts, you can see that through all the Right Wing Blogs, there is a chorus being drummed up that while the republicans are horrible they aren't as bad as the 'troop insulting democrats'. There is even a single picture from Iraq that is posted everywhere at the same time, some troops making fun of Kerry by a bunch fo groups, this photo appears on Tammy Bruce, Bill O'Reilly and other right wing blogs... All of them at the same time.

Of course everyone forgot the insult George W. Bush made of the troops when he made fun of the war in Iraq, during a white house dinner where he poked fun at the search for WMDs, the whole reason American went to war in Iraq. Or what about Donald Rumsfeld talking about fighting with the army that you have and not the one which you want, when a soldier asked him about "armor plating on vehicles"...

So the American people get wound up by a political has been but it's okay ifit's the commander in chief and our small 15 second memory won't remember the facts.

Olberman and O'Reilly that would be a FANTASTIC news show.
