Officer involved shooting 12/06/15

"Seattle Police Department investigators are piecing together the trail of a 35-year-old violent felon after he brandished two handguns at several downtown businesses Sunday, carjacked three vehicles and fired on officers before a fatal confrontation with police in Northeast Seattle."

Proof to me that there ARE officer involved shootings that are reasonable.
Still sad that 'officer involved shooting' might as well be 'shot by officer(s)'. I hate that cops kill more than 10 times as many citizens as citizens kill cops, that's backwards in my eyes, the cops are ONLY there to protect society, they shouldn't be 10 times as dangerous as the criminals they are supposed to protect against or they're far worse than useless.
This time, they have good cause as I see it.

Yeah, it's unfortunate, but this is the kind of thing that justifies the force used for me as well. He was an obvious danger to those around him, and fired on them, so I can't think of anything else to do at that point either.

Seems to me there are good reasons the Seattle police dept has been putting out these videos the last couple years. I assume it's A PR thing in their attempt to combat the reality that their dept is one of the worst in the country when it comes to police brutality (based on the need for the feds to investigate the dept due to abuse) and how the internal overwatch won't punish bad cops in Seattle.

A more realistic picture of the Seattle Police Dept.

You know its a HUGE issue when the Feds investigate your police force.
