Officer! My car was stolen while I was in buying beer!

Neatorama: Michael Otero parked his new red truck in front of a convenience store in Laguna Beach, California and went inside for only a few minutes. When he returned, the truck was gone! Since he had left the keys in the ignition and the doors unlocked, Otero assumed it had been stolen. Police watched the surveillance video and found out what really happened. You can, too.

incredible camera angle

Doesn't take his keys, leaves it in Neutral?!, and doesn't set the emergency brake.
It's almost as if the truck was trying to run away from such a dumbass.

edit: he does turn off the lights though, and if you notice the truck is already moving backwards as he's getting out the door, it pushes against him. How can he not notice? Unless he's so drunk / stoned already.

I want to see what happened to the truck, did it just coast to a stop somewhere, or did it total something nearby?

It came to a stop in a vacant parking spot after scraping a wall and concrete barrier.

I think it was actually KITT.
