vairetubesays...Even better was the "republican response" by jindal ...
Chorus:
Obama doesn't say what he says
We just want what Obama is saying
But he didn't think of whatever it was he said but didnt say which we don't not agree with but thought of first probably and one time i talked with a hick sheriff.
Repeat.
Winstonfield_Pennypackersays...Yes - Obama did inherit a huge deficit. Bush did a terrible job on the economy by not cutting more spending, and by pouring money to tons of groups for political payola. Congress too. Basically every elected official for the past 12 years needs to be run out of office, banned from every working in government again, and to have all their money, assets, and property confiscated and given to the people in recompense for their terrible mismanagement of the economy.
But Obama... He's totally trying to have it both ways. Sure he didn't inherit a balanced budget - but he's also the guy that just increased our deficit by over 800 billion dollars in one month with plans on the hook for another 2 trillion.
Mr. Hussain-O - you don't get the right to whine about deficits if you are the one that is increasing them more rapidly than any President in history.
Farhad2000says...ROFLMAO
Bush putting billions every week into an illegal war = OK!
Obama putting billions to help Americans = Communism!

Every time someone uses his name like that they instantly confirm their ignorance.

NetRunnersays...^ When did the $787bn American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan become a $4.6 trillion bailout?
Also, where are the Bush tax cuts on that list?

Hi BillO. Sad.
Winstonfield_Pennypackersays...I see whining about using B-Hussain-O's middle name... I see whining about "but Obama's deficit is STIMULUS..."... I see pointless diversions saying "Bush!" when no one is debating that Bush sucked.
What I don't see is any substantive denial of the fact that Obama is - in fact - increasing the deficit faster than any President in US history. Because he is. Quit being such Obama zombies and at least try to scrape together the gonads to have some intellectual honesty.
rougysays...The last people in the world who have any room to bitch about Obama are the conservatives who voted for and supported Bush and his agenda for the past eight years.

rougysays..."O'Neill said he tried to warn Vice President Dick Cheney that growing budget deficits-expected to top $500 billion this fiscal year alone-posed a threat to the economy. Cheney cut him off. "You know, Paul, Reagan proved deficits don't matter," he said, according to excerpts. Cheney continued: "We won the midterms (congressional elections). This is our due." A month later, Cheney told the Treasury secretary he was fired."

The cons got us into this mess and the last thing they're going to do is either admit it or keep their fat mouths shut.
GeeSussFreeKsays...Government in general has been overspending for about 70 years now. There are no conservatives fiscally speaking. The United States hasn't balanced a budget since 1957

Shhh... This is the happy moment, when we're all supposed to love the man. Eventually, popular opinion will turn, THEN we can all look back and say how much we've always hated him and his deficit spending. You're getting ahead of the regularly scheduled programmed emotional response. It's not about intellect. It's about emotion and HOPE! HOPE, for the FUTURE! And OTHER meaningless inspirational sayings and platitudes! Now is not the time for THOUGHT, now is the time for LOVE! WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Would only apply if tried to make an inductive argument based on the fallacy. I did not. At best the comment is misleading, and at worst, it is a mistake in logic.
"People who dislike bacon have no right to complain about bacon!" is a similar fallacy depending on the exact sentiment of the comment in question.
