Dumbest soundtrack ever.

And wow, I had no idea but VLC looks 80gazillion times better on OSX.

Well that was a shite video for a number of reasons:

* As volumptuous said, horrible soundtrack
* Horrible font choice
* Bland set of 'features' shown... (who the hell wants to play a puzzle game of their video? WHO?)

Great big pile of meh for me.

Awesome video player, bad video... how ironic...

OSX? I saw what looked like Ubuntu KDE and GNOME, but not OSX proper.

I don't disagree at all. I just thought the Windows interface looks way super outdated. The ATM at my bank has a nicer UI.

The default skin is certainly very plain, but there are some nice themes for it if that's important to you. Personally, I prefer the player itself to be as unobtrusive as possible, and I think VLC does a nice job of getting out of its own way. Haven't tried SMPlayer yet though.
