Just because nature is very very good at cleaning up our messes (likely better than we are) is no reason for us to keep on making the messes.

But in this case, life settles on places it could not otherwise settle. These corals can't live on sandy sea floors, but can live on hard surfaces like our trash. Fish can find protection in nurseries in and around our trash.
