The Metro in Paris is always good for a nice surprise. Have experienced many chanting, singing, music playing, miming and of course the always annoying accordeon (conzert musicians personal hell^^).

I could see this being a public nuisance if other than a talented group singing it.

People are into different kinds of music. Some are into techno, some are into country, and some are into rap. There's a reason WHY you wear a headphone you know, because you wanna hear the music 'YOU' want to listen to and you 'CHOOSE' to listen at your own will.

When you start singing in a closed public space, there's no option to turn it off unless I confront you and ask you to quiet down. And that's not something I wanna do to a bunch of black guys on a subway ride if you know what I mean.

Couple of times I've had this happen to me when I was riding the LIRR or MTA NYC Transit. Be it drunk guys or some group of guys doing the beatbox. They often get real loud and obnoxious. And that's because all of them think they sound great, but obviously to others, it may not be so pleasant.

Thank god these guys sounded good. But if it was anything else, I can see myself just walking over to the other cart.
