Camp Lejeune is in the City of Jacksonville, North Carolina in the states. It was named after General John Lejeune, the 13^th commandant of the Marine Corps.

There was a picture in National Geographic a few issues back of a photographer who took off his shoes and let them attack his feet just to show how many there were. It made me want to vomit and I have a pretty strong stomach. The article was on northern Alaska. Apparently in the summer, those little bastards thrive due to all the still water on the surface of the landscape.
