In light of the current currency climate, I've been thinking of investing in something like this. I bet that magnet triples in value over the course of 3-4 years.

I've played with chemicals (acid's/bases etc), highly combustibles, toxins, biohazards, firearms and even explosives and the idea of playing around with this bonecrusher freaks me out more than any of the rest...

Magnets are not magnets unless their attractive force can sever limbs and or fingers!

edit-BTW, when working at the end of the night at UPS we needed to walk the belt to make sure there were no packages left sitting around.
One package was left and it happened to be a big ass magnet. It required myself and another worker to yank it off. But, it's attractive force was great enough that it just attached itself to the belt above us. So we moved it off by sliding it sideways. I'd like to know who the idiot was that stuck that on a plastic/rubber belt with a solid steel sheet underneath each belt...

how would you ship something like this? it'd be sticking to everything.

Say that the guy would accidentally get one of his metal weights caught directly onto the magnet..what would the appropriate way of getting it off be? I mean, that beast could according to the video lift 1.2 tons .. so merely pulling it off by human strength aint gonna work. Is there some way he could use electricity to weaken the magnet temporarily?

A long wooden wedge might work as long as you didn't get it stuck flat side to flat side.
