psh, pirated games run better because you can run them off the hard drive rather than the slow cd-rom. Me? I'm legit now because i have a decent paying job.

Most games should install to the hard drive, the disc remains in the drive as a copy protection measure. I do love your rationalization though, as a performance booster, rather then outright theft. Oh, movie is fun too

Clumsy, read up on the performance hit caused by the different versions of SafeDisc. I used to buy my games at the store, then download the no-cd crack so that it wouldn't chew up 10 percent of my CPU. So yes, pirated games run better.

@wax66 I still buy then crack them for that very reason. Cracked games run better! Also they tweak out the startup movies which have become ads for the developers as well as sound cards vid cards and everything else out there. jeesh.
