Marines Seige FAllujah (1 bad word in beginning)

"mild snuff video" - isn't that an oxymoron? I mean, you could apply such terminology to pretty much any war photage. What there's probably no doubt about, though, is that the footage this guy shot must've heaviliy censored on the actually gory/'snuff'-y stuff.

Interesting to see the Marine with the AK-47, though - and the ops in general; if you weren't told these were combat ops you might be forgiven for thinking it's a training exercise, given the lack of incoming fire.

I was also puzzled by the AK. I always thought that soldiers were only supposed to use issue weapons, so unless he ran out of ammo then I have no clue what he was doing there. Could be another reason for it though.

You hit the nail on the head. When ammo is low they use the AK's. Some soldiers even prefer it because it doesn't jam as much as the M4's (I think that's the standard issue, at least).

The entire AR15 range needs to be replaced but Colt is putting pressure on the government to stick with them. It's beyond belief. H&K fully completed the replacement but Colt objected because it claimed there was no fair competition but then Colt made no effort to improve their guns at all!

It is really terrifying that big corporations can control the US governemnt so much that the troops aren't even given reliable weapons. At least my government (UK) allowed the SA80 to be fixed, which was also done by H&K.

I've seen incredible videos specifically from imbedded Fallujah cameramen, but never one that was edited like a music video. Very much true to the pre-war perspective of the Indiana Marines I know who went over there, wanting to kick some ass and blow some shit up.

A long fireworks show, with a brief shot of a dead militant, set to dumb radio-rock.
