Louis CK talks about being a father

Yeah, it's mildly funny, but man, he fired me up to take my kids to the park!

^ it will change you in ways you cannot understand until you do become a father, though. Worth experiencing parenthood eventually in life, IMHO.

Having children just seems like a way to become distracted from something. Whether it be a distraction from self-improvement of one's own life, or trying something that you might fail at. If you have that excuse of: "I can't do that because I have kids that depend on me," you're looked at as a martyr instead of a coward.

I've noticed a lot of people use having children as a way to save their boring marriages. Maybe it works in some cases, but in many others, it backfires.
