After the strike you can see a chunk o' plane sparks, bet it left a scar...

I wonder what is like inside the plane with the lighting hits.

I was on a plane once when lightning struck during a storm over Gander/Newfoundland and the plane was an Ilyushin operated by Cubana Air.

We had already circled a few times because I guess they did not think it safe to land. Then a sudden big bang and bright light. Worst part was that someone started screaming "fire!!!" even though there was none. We made it down in the end but it was one hell of a bumpy ride. One of the scariest moments in my life. I was 12.
